The 4-Step Sales Process: The Key to Marketing Your Business

After watching my successful clients for several years, especially those who provide services or wholesale products and in my experience, I have discovered that they thrive because they use a 4-step sales process. This is how it works:

1. Attract prospects by offering something for FREE in order to obtain either their mailing or email address. Offer FREE information, tips, newsletters, consulting or samples, etc., to get them to give you their mail address.

2. Consistently market to these prospects using email or regular mail. Every month or two, send email or regular mail that puts your products/services in front of them.

3. Once your prospect buys, provide excellent customer service. Make the customer’s experience the best possible. This leaves the door open to further market to them...

4. Consistently market to this customer to encourage them to buy additional products or services. Sure, they just bought their first product/service from you, but your work has just begun. You still need to stay in front of them and remind them that you have additional products and services that will solve their problems.
