1. We build a custom website template you can update yourself via any Internet browser.
If you want to update your website yourself, we'll build your website from a template that you can make changes to anytime you want using an Internet browser on any computer with an Internet connection. We strongly recommend this type of website if you're selling products. If you primarily sell services but still want to make adjustments to the site on a regular basis, this type of website would also be ideal.

2. We build a custom-built website and you rely on us to update it whenever you want.
Some of our clients prefer that we custom build their website and rely on us to make periodic changes to the site. Sometimes our clients choose a custom-built website so they can focus on other aspects of their business or because they don't want the hassle of updating their website. A custom built website also works well if you do not plan to make many changes to your site (this is usually ideal for service businesses).

Whether you choose a template website or a custom website, we provide full website development including any or all of the following, depending on what your project requires:

- securing your domain name
- choosing the right website hosting service
- selecting the best template that fits your website needs while also allowing you to update it
- providing all design, layout and uploading of images, copy, and other elements of the site
- writing copy and headines
- shopping cart development
- adding blogs, forums, and message boards
- adding permission e-mail sign up forms to the site
- intensive website marketing
- updating your site

Web site development of your home page or graphic user interface (also known as GUI) typically takes from 10 to 20 hours. To save $$, many of our clients spend an hour or so telling us what they like and don't like about websites, and that allows us to keep the home page development closer to 10 hours.

Additional pages beyond the home page take approximately 1-3 hours per page to create depending on the number of graphics and the amount of copy required.

Rate: Based on $85.00/hour (Fixed estimates are ALWAYS provided once we know more about your website development needs.)

Promoting your website is critical. We'll discuss and implement website promotions through title/page descriptions, search engine submittal, opt-in/permission-based email campaigns, pay-per-click campaigns, building community, back links, reciprocal links, and much more.

If you prefer to develop these promotions yourself, consulting costs $125/hour with a minimum of 30 minutes the first time we talk (no minimum after that), then in 15 minute increments after that. If you prefer that I write, design, or develop these promotional ideas for you, my regular fees of $85/hour apply.

If you prefer to meet in person for the consultation, I charge a 2-hour minimum of $250 plus one-way traveling time for locations within 30 miles. Additional time is charged in 15 minute increments.
